As today Pakistan released IAF’s pilot Abhinandan Varthaman (who had violated LOC and was captured by Pakistani armed forces) as a gesture of peace, regardless of Indian Prime Minister Modi’s interest to answer the call from Pakistan’s Prime Minister. It is good message for the world that Pakistan is a peace loving country but the decision to release the IAF pilot should have been delayed a little. It would have been better if we have taken this decision by involving some of the countries or Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan should have demanded the release of Pakistani prisoners in India. In 1971, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had signed the Simla Agreement which resulted a cease fire between India and Pakistan. More importantly he rebuilt the honour and respect of our Nation. He brought back 90,000 prisoners of war with honour from Indian military camps and won back 13000 Square Kilometers territory lost in the 1971 war.
Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto made indelible imprints on world community by his inimitable oratorical skills in United Nation’s General Assembly and the Security Council.

On December 15th 1971, speaking at UN, Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto said “Jammu & Kashmir is not an integral part of India, it has never been an integral part of India. Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed territory between India and Pakistan. It is more a part of Pakistan than it can ever be with India, with all its eloquence. People of Jammu and Kashmir are part of people of Pakistan in Blood, in Flesh, in life, kith and kin of ours, in culture, in geography, in history and in everywhere and in every forum”.

Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto empowerd Pakistan making it an Atomic Power but he was against the war, he believed the issues should be resolved through negotiations, he wanted the peace but wanted it with honor. Listen his message of peace “Many years have passed, many developments have taken place and after decades in search for peace, you must believe us when we say that we want to have peace with honour in the subcontinent. Our people have suffered for too long and I believe we have the worst form of poverty and misery that can’t be imagined anywhere in the world. We believe it is essential for us to open a new chapter in our relations. In my country they are making determined efforts & we are dedicated principally to the people & when I say we wish the people of India well, I mean it most sincerely because we believe in the power of the people..in the happiness of the people so we are determined to try and improve our relations but it will have to be done on a basis which is just & fair.

My people, Indian people are too poor. My people of pakistan and the people of India are far too poor to keep on fighting every five to ten years and its in the mutual interest of the two countries that we do not get intoxicated by momentarily gains and think of our tomorrow because a tomorrow is bond to come, a subcontinent that has civilization of five thousand years, it must think in broad terms, it must think in terms of co-existing, not to Victor and Vanquish.

“Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was a great visionary leader. In the true spirit of Islam, he came to liberate people from backwardness, illiteracy and poverty. He empowered the people of Pakistan by constitution, he empowered Pakistan by the Nuclear Program” and raised the voice of people of Kashmir at every forum of the world, he was the leader of the world and still rules on minds and hearts of million people”.
